Last week’s major cold front has finally got my local river bass into a feeding frenzy mood. They’ve been packing on the calories and couldn’t resist a simple Texas rig worm today even though the water is still cold and they look pretty full.

Man I’m jealous. There’s 5 inches of ice between me and the fish rn, but it got up to 46 today. Probably not safe lol. It’s supposed to freeze hard again the next three nights. Planning on getting out there Saturday with a drill and a sawzall to try my hand at ice fishing lol. Strange times. Most years nothing even freezes over here.
