Hello! This is my tank and my betta, her name is “One”… it’s a long story. It’s a 5 gallon, there’s money-wart, java fern and I forget what the other plants are at the moment. She does not have a heater, her take persists at 80 degrees in my house, when I added a heater it made it wayyyy to hot for her. She also has one netetrite snail (neterite? netirete?) Anyway, there’s always a lot of poo at the bottom of the tank. Even when I remove decor and vacuum it seems never ending. Is there any fish or snail I can add that would eat that up? Keep it in mind, it’s only a 5GAL.

you need to be the one cleaning your tank of fish waste because it can cause ammonia spike. you’ll need to vacuum the gravel when you do your weekly water changes.

  2. First off, your tank is BEAUTIFUL 😍 second poop or detritus or mulm is normal, actually somewhat healthy in some amounts!idk I’m just a begginer but this is what I learned but you can clean them out using siphons for water changing or use a turkey baster to remove excess detritus, and I think there is no snail or fish species that eats poop, I think it’s normal if gravel is ur substrate as there are gaps that poo or debris can get stucked in! And your Betta is beautiful 😍!
