Hey all! Been posting for a while fine tuning some trolling motor stuff, but as it always happens, this deal popped up.
Would you take this Hobie Outback deal or pit a trolling motor on an Old Town Topwater 106 Paddle Kayak?

To clarify, I do fish a pretty major river quite a bit that has large rocks and gets shallow quite a bit. But I also have access to a very large lake nearby that I fish as well.
Hobie parts are nonexistent right now, for that alone I would go old town
I ended up going OT and from what I’m hearing about parts availability and warranty service from Hobie, I’m super glad I did. If you’re going to add a trolling motor anyway, get an Autopilot and call it a day.
