Went by Walmart and got this stuff for my first time trout fishing at a local pond. Any advise? What have y'all had the most success with here and how do y'all rig it up?

Return all this shit and get a rooster tail.

Nice but 20lb braid is way too much, also recommend attaching a leader to the braid don’t connect it straight to the hook. ~6lb mono/flouro is the standard. Snap swivels are way tooo big, get a size ~16 barrel and call it a day.
