He's almost longer than the platform he is on.
Best part was later that night i was doing a water change and he was just chilling, completely out of the water, still grazing the rock he was attached to for a full 4 minutes before i noticed him and put him back into the water.

What a cool fish
These guys act pretty funny in the wild too. You see them under the most turbulent waterfalls with really fast strong swimmers and water screaming by with the force of multiple gallons per second barely hanging on to the smooth surface of a rock
And then you see them in the dead quiet parts of the river as well stuck onto a twig or under a leaf. They don’t give a shit about the water as long as there’s food to be had

I’ve been trying to tell people the 30g minimum you see online is a number pulled out of nowhere. Just make sure they have wood and algae and they’ll be chillin.
A small dream of mine is that I wanna get one of those impossible to stock tall hexes; load it full of wood and let the algae and biofilm go crazy, and then put some farlowellas in there. Set it up with a waterfall style filter and let the dudes chill
