He looks like a cutie! What a handsome fella.
In terms of advice, why not raise the water a bit? I’m sure he’d appreciate it.
Love him!!

So first thing first would love to hear positive feedback for what u think of my tank! I feel like I need more, so ima get driftwood and sea moss praying for the best, but besides that I think it’s solid on decorations. Might upgrade my hiding spot for blu any suggestions will be appreciated!
My thermometer broke so I ordered new one along with a filter sponge. I also want floaters so I’m thinking about red roots but ima get that after I get the sponge the filter is not too crazy. Also some feeder ports or whatever those a things are called
I have a 10 gal with a filter a heater and a light but besides that anything and else you can suggest?
Also questions got two snails! Will the calcium mess with my bby? Will the soft water hurt our snails? I looked online but every time I look it’s only about taking care with calcium

I like your tank 🙂 Appreciate the plants, good depth of substrate, and loving the Indian almond leaves. And your Blu is a very pretty boy.
Some feedback: I noticed you buried your java fern rhizomes, which will cause rotting and the plant won’t do well. It thrives when attached to rock or driftwood, you can use string or even aquarium safe super glue.
If you haven’t gotten root tabs for the amazon swords yet, you’ll need to, they’ll grow wonderfully for you if you do. These are great plants for bettas, nice wide leaves the can rest on. Could also get another root feeder if you have the root tabs, Cryptocoryne do great for me in inert substrate. Some have a lot of luck with Vallisneria. Recommend tablet root tabs as opposed to capsules which don’t do great burying into gravel.

Is the water up to the minimum water level on your heater? Hard to tell from the photos, but it looks low and that’s a huge issue if it isn’t.
You should really get a lid and fill your water up more generally. The more water you have, the easier it is to maintain safe water parameters
Your tank looks pretty good otherwise

It looks good as is. My only, and I mean only, thing that could be is fill it completely up. More room the better for Baby Blu and his homies.
