I’ve measured thickness on this frozen lake (8 inches +) and we’ve had 9+ days (all 24 hours) below freezing. I’m curious what these patterns are, and if they are concerning? I don’t think anyone has been on the ice other than me. Are the branch-like patterns places where water is still/recently flowing? What are the clearer circular spots?

Spiderweb cracks, usually from snow or currents, they could be old and fine to walk over or they couldnt, only way to know is to spud/drill them out and see how thick the ice is. Ive fallen through larger ones myself lol
