I caught this fish in a small private pond in Dover Plains, NY back in October. Google Lens has been all over the place with identifying it. It has given me smallmouth, walleye, Bluegill, golden perch, etc. Caught on a 6.5" Lews American Hero wih Berkley PowerBait MaxScent Creature Hawg Fishing Soft Bait pumpkin party.

definitly not a bluegill, walleye, or golden perch. Its hard to tell from the angle. If you had a better side profile it would be easier. I want to say smallmouth but the jaw doesnt look right. Maybe a miscolored yellow perch?
