Howdy! My parents got a betta fish a month ago. In the past week, his colors have changed a lot. His face is suddenly black and white, and his find have changed. When my first betta had fin rot, it did not look like this, but she has very different coloring and I caught it very early on. Is this fin rot? Or something else? It looks like he might just be coming into his natural coloring, but Im really unsure here. Thank u!!!

I’m pretty sure he’s just coming into his colours, he looks pale and stressed in the photos from when they got him (likely from being in the pet store/transported home) then over time it looks as if he’s called down and coloured up. He’s very pretty 💙
Idk much but he looks like he’s thriving! Bright/ vibrant colors are a good sign!
Yeah he’s just coloring up! Pat yourself on the back, you’re doing a great job taking care of him! I was looking back through pictures of when I first got my baby and the color change is really dramatic once you get them out of that damn cup and put them into a nicer environment
