Came home to this. I noticed there was something on the gravel. This is the first time I saw something like this.. so clean.. so sad.. I feed my fishes 2x a day which is why this is a surprise.

IMO this is my favorite way to find a fish passed. His remains didn’t go to waste and his death in a way served a purpose.
The saddest thing for me is finding a fish clinging to life and you either have to watch helplessly or euthanize.
