These cold months are tough to catch in Colorado so I was happy to get this little guy in Boulder creek today.
For the inevitable commenters and haters in this sub… 1) my hand is wet – you can see drops of water on it, 2) yes I’d did drive a 4Runner there, 3) yes I have nice gear, but I’m out using it – am I supposed to hide it?

Love it. Bigger than anything I’ve caught this year.
That reel is sick. Colors on the fish are great. I wanted to get my father the dead reel but think that opportunity was missed. Took my mother to catch her first on a fly below the reservoir below Nederland and it was the happiest I’ve ever seen her. Celebrate the wins brother.
I bet you the 4Runner is a limited too.
