Hey guys, my old surf rod unfortunately just broke from a cast, ive been trying to fish this spot but the sandy bit is out 120m and I have no idea how to cast out there, I have mono leader and good braid and am trying to cast 4-5 ounce sinkers out there.
Any recommendations for a surf rod and tips is greatly appreciated.

Freeze baits with a line coming out and use a potato gun. Thats what i do for catfish
The rod I was using was a saltseeker shimano 13 foot surf rod 50-90g cast weight FYI.
Bait cannon or RC bait boat might work. Wouldn’t use the boat if the water’s rough.
