I've been seeing really cheep reels at Walmart onn reddit recently, so I checked out my local Walmart and saw these. I don't need any reels right now but I'm curious if these are worth it?

Id totally pay you for either of those Ozark trail reels if you got one. Even shipping. But I’d get some of those hooks for sure tho.

  2. Nothing attractive for me. It’s up your own style of fishing.

I bought so much useless stuffs just because it was “cheap”.

I bought so much from the sale bin, but the resolve they were there was because nobody wants them. I tested and could catch a single fish.

  3. If I were you I’d save your money and buy quality reels rather than these deals, unless you’re just starting out. Quality Shimanos will last you years of use

I wouldn’t personally buy anything pictured. Not that it’s necessarily bad stuff i just wouldn’t use any of it.

  5. Hooks and weights are a great deal! Not much to mess up there they will catch fish.

The reels idk, they work but could get better so $ to quality ratio thats iffy.

  6. I grabbed a Monarch reel on clearance and I don’t really like it. It feels pretty smooth but the frame feels really weak. Its laughable how easy it is to twist the frame and the handle feels flimsy. Also the drag click sound is really low and for some reason it annoys the hell out of me.

  7. All gomaksu and Berkeley hooks that I think I would use in the next 10 years + any of the lead that I am likely to use.

    Maybe the Trion reel.

  8. Whatever you need and will actually use? Buying stuff just because it is on sale still costs $$.

I’m confused by this post. If it’s something you use and it’s on sale buy it. If you don’t use any of this stuff buying it is just a waste of money. Don’t overthink it my friend. Buy the stuff you like to fish with.
