I know its not pearling, but why does this always happen after a waterchange?

    Dissolved gasses from your water supply are coming out of solution. I’d bet if you just put some of the water in a cup you’d see bubbles form on the sides of the cup as well. Likely driven primarily by gasses being more soluble under pressure in the supply lines and once the water is no longer under pressure the gas comes out of solution.

    Because tap water is pressurized and holds more dissolved gas than your tank, so those gases release from the water and form bubbles as they return to atmospheric pressure.

  3. I think this is because of the water temperature : you insert cold water which can dissolve more gassy than hot water. The water heat in your tank, so the water cannot handle all the dissolved gas, so the gas return to its gas form.
