I’ve been ice fishing for years and wanted live sonar, but the cost and bulk of most setups (Garmin, shuttles, Pelican cases, ducer poles) always turned me off. I wanted something I could carry with my auger while hole-hopping, without pre-drilling a ton of holes or making extra trips.
I ended up going with the Accufy Ping Live Mini. It runs over Wi-Fi to a phone or tablet, so I built a simple tripod-style pole and a small electrical enclosure that runs off DeWalt tool batteries I already use. Lightweight, compact, and easy to move.

I’m a big hole hopper myself and is also why I decided not to go livescope when I recently upgraded my flasher. Some of this looks 3d printed or no? I love when two of my hobbies intersect and 3d printing for ice fishing mods is such a great combo. I just finished printing a replacement blade cover for my auger. Anyway I don’t know anything about the Accufy Ping system but your setup looks slick and would’ve solved my main issues with livescope.
Brilliant!
Pretty cool, I went lowrance and thought hard about ping as far as cost. If it does what you need and is efficient should be good 👍
