I brought a water sample to the store for them to test and bought a liquid testing kit. Fed No Name today, I will be feeding 2-3 pellets every other day and testing the water every day. I'm supplementing the tank with Seachem stability for the next 6 days, then after every water change for at least a month (per the directions).

I think it looks great and he seems happy! Very curious and active 🙂 I do have one question: why is the water moving like that?

  2. I’d recommend that you get an air control valve for your filter and slow down the bubbles some. Bettas prefer less water movement. Take your plants out of the pots and take the stuff off that’s around their roots. (The red leaf ones) plant those directly into the gravel.

Since its next to a window, if you get an algae bloom you might need to turn down your lighting significantly!
I have mine near one but its not as bright as yours. Manageable though!
He looks happy to me 🙂
