I just discovered the beauty that is the Scarlet Badis and the Black Tiger Badis. I’m in love and would love to own some. I have been doing as much research as I can but it seems like this might be a good place to ask my questions, so if anyone has any info on these awesome fish I would live any input. Anyway, can the two species be kept together and if so how many and how big of a tank? The website I am looking at sells them in groups of 8, probably all males since apparently females are extremely hard to come by. If I can’t keep them together can I put them in one of my other tanks? My first tank is a 29g tank with black skirt tetras, neon tetras, cory catfish, and a pleco. My other tank is a 10g tank with a betta, cherry barbs, and cory cats. I would love any and info on these little guys as I really want some but I definitely want to do right by them. Thank you all in advance. My 29 gallon for attention.

In 29 gal, you can get away with putting in all 8 of them if you have alot of hiding space and spots for territories. They are very tiny fish and skiddish so you gotta make sure to target feed them live food. They are bad with fast moving fish and dont really compete well when it comes to food.
