I currently have a pair of Orvis Clearwater waders. I’ve fished for maybe 20 days with them and they’re already leaking from one knee and crotch seams. I have Aquaseal at home and want to try to repair the waders myself, but there’s also the option of sending them in to Orvis for a $60 repair fee. Which option should I go with? Thanks!

  1. Check their warranty policy if you haven’t. They cover against defects after the initial 60 no questions asked period.

I had a buddy who tried to repair his last fall and they were leaking the first day. Personally, id cough up the 60$ so there’s at least accountability on their part and they can offer some sort of guarantee on the repair.
