Hi i have owned my 56litre tank for almost 3 months now and 2days ago i decided to add a new female betta fish to the mix. Shes been perfectly fine with my other fish. I just want to know if theres anything i should do differently in my tank or anything i may need to take out or add as i want her to be able to thrive in this environment.

id add some more plants, bettas feel most comfortable with dense planting , id add some more elodea dense like you have in the back and add some more to the front, and also if you can add a black background (eg use black craft paper), bettas feel safest with dark environment and won’t feel as exposed from all sides (and it will make the colour of your fish pop) apart from these additions the tank looks lovely 🙂
