Aquariums: Anyone know what this is? it attached itself to my balloon molly and i thought it was having a stroke or something but then i found this guy moving around the mollies body

It’s a fish louse. They give me the heebie jeebies. 🙁

I would check for more lice and ask around or Google for a tank treatment.

Edit: I should mention fish lice are a type of crustacean, not a bug. They’re more common in like koi, but I’ve seen quite a few posts about them in smaller aquariums.
