Recently I have been wanting to clean my reel, so I unscrewed the nail and washed the dirt. Then I realised that I cousin’s crew it back on for some reason and after constantly screwing it on and off the screw the hole where the screw connects the line roller to the reel seems to be threaded. The screw doesn’t screw in, it just plonks in. Other than paying for it to be fixed since there aren’t any reel services nearby, what’s the best option to fix it? And also not buying a new reel.
