Looking at getting one of the $695 dollar rods since I have a huge discount. I have bought from them before and understand that it takes a long time to come(which is why I’m buying now even though I don’t need it until summer). I plan on mainly fishing for trout on the West Coast but am also traveling to NZ so trying to find a rod that works in both areas. First time buying a fly fishing rod so any info on which rod or just fly fishing in general would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Not sure on edge rods but I’ve been thinking about a NZ trip for a while you gotta let me know how it goes! I’m a beginner too so it would be nice to hear form someone not an expert
I fish their 6 weight for big Alaskan trout and char. Great Rod, and I suspect you’re a Holden Ticket holder?
Check their site, it should tell you if they are in stock or not.
Edit: Should have mentioned mainly fishing for trout
Edge rods are great but if you need it by a specific time I’d order something else.
