Last week, I posted these 2 puffers in quarantine. They are worm-free 🎉 and have gotten chubby on snails in this main tank. I originally (intentionally) overfed the snails to get their population up, but these 2 wiped out the small ones within 3 days. This one in particular LOVES to take bites out of the bigger snails, only to swim off and leave them alive with chunks missing.
Also, they have 40inches of horizontal swimming space, but still wanna be in each other’s faces.
And yes, they do not care about their tankmates and never nipped at anyone (except snails).
Hikari bloodworms are being delivered tomorrow and I’m hoping they’d eat those.
