Hii! I joined the betta fish community about a month and a half ago and im very excited! But I would love some help and advice from the professional in this community, do I need more for my tank? And what would that be? Any ideas, advice, and tips would be appreciated!! Thank you🩷! (The last picture was when it was cycling after a water change)

I would buy some nice driftwood to put in the middle 🙂 It’ll make it nicer for your fish & you.
Missing something on the center? Driftwood or a stone perhaps?
Is that a heater? You have to make sure it’s always submerged all the way, because it can actually explode if you’re not careful with that!
If you have a lid I’d fill it all the way to the top, especially in a 5 gallon you may as well make use of as much space as you can. Looks good though!
What is the piece of equipment your stating says “max fill line” leaving 2 gallons of tank useless?
Hi very nice set up but I can tell you right off the flip u have to have ur heater fully submerged under the water so I would add more water
Just want to make one suggestion do you have a gravel vac water syphon ? If so get two buckets and take as much water out as u can and then remove some of that soil and put it in the other bucket it doesn’t need to be that thick and depending on what plants you have which I believe I’m seeing Amazon swords which are great but really don’t need that much soil at all so I’d remove a lot of it so it’s lower plant your Amazon swords back in and then you can add some on top of gravel or sand whichever Anubis and all you have to do with those is glue them to a rock or even Java fern and you can place them anywhere then I would fill that tank all the way up to the top and add prime and some kind of water fertilizer like flourish very little and then your good to go are you adding a betta? If so I’d get some kind of hide like a rock cave or anything not sharp and also your going to need some water testers to check your ammonia levels and nitrite and nitrate and your ready to rock oh yea and add the water back in that you took out lol 😆and make sure your heater is FULLY SUBMERGED
