I'll be fishing in the 1000 Islands for something to do while camping, just want to get out on the water and have some fun. Very basic fishing.

Get the tamarack pro, a full frame seat makes the difference in the world. I have had one for 5 years and use and abuse it in lakes, creeks and rivers in central PA and it has served me well
Just for the seat and adjustable foot pegs, I would go with the Tamarack

Full seat on the tamarack is the same seat i have on my yukon, and that seat is actually good, my friend has a native and he prefers my seat over his.
