soooo for the past three weeks every time ive gone to the store ive seen this itty bitty little betta. every time i saw her she had a harder time swimming. i even cried when i saw her last week. it felt so unfair that such a young little fish would die in a store because her only purpose is to make money for someone else. it got really bad when she started showing up in my dreams. so when i saw her today… i folded. i had a fully cycled tank with only a snail and thought well. alright.

I honestly think people give too much hate for buying at chains. Buying a betta once a year from a chain store wont inpact their sales much or even make them notice but youre saving a life. I do always reccomend asking the employees for a discount or something especially with obviously ill bettas.
