Designed this because I have a 20 gallon high already and I am building a new 75 gallon in a few weeks. I wasn’t happy with anything online and I talked the wife into letting me build it. 2nd picture is the weight bearing structure done. 4 4×4 posts at each corner with heavy machinery leveling feet, 2×6 top frame, 2×4 bottom frame, 2×4 jack studs, and a 3/4 inch red oak plywood skin. I still need to finish the front, been debating between cabinets or shelves on either side of the 20 gallon on the bottom.

Are you filling it with 75 gallons of concrete?
I’m always nervious when i see the first pic and think “all the weight is on the screws” then i see you put the addtional studes.
Your tanks weight is resting on the screws not the 4x4s you need to rebuild this. And unless this is a peninsula you usually want an open back for wiring and such
You could park a house on top of that thing, damn brother, that’s engineered.
Not sure what your plans are but a hole saw and some grommets will help a ton with cord management and keeping things looking clean.
Well done!
wow i feel comfortable looking at this thing
