This dude hitchhiked on a plant! Is it a nerite?? I’m just confused by the green on him and he just looks odd lol the green I thought maybe algae didn’t scrub off? Idk!! Just wanna know if I keep him or what

Yep that’s a nerite snail. I’ve heard discoloration like this can be attributed to nutrient deficiencies.
In my experience nerites are very hardy and so this snail will probably be fine, although I’ve never seen or experienced this irl. Just make sure there’s enough minerals in the water and there’s algae for them to eat.
