I got a brand new Penn SpinFisher 6500 vii Live liner with 50lb braid. Looking to pair it to a 12 ft rod to long cast baits into rocks and reefs deeper inshore with 4-6 oz sinkers. What do you guys recommend? Prefer to stay under 250$
Also what are your thoughts on the Penn Prevail 12ft for $124? I see people like it for sharks and rays but not so much for casting. Just saw my local Walmart had it in stock. Might pick it up and use it for a few months before upgrading but wanted more insight. Thanks
