Hello! This is my first betta fish and I want to do right by him! This is 6 hours into being in my care from a petsmart. He is a half moon betta, and the way the internet describes their fins it seems maybe his are not at their full potential?
He has been actively swimming and exploring the tank since acclimation so I feel like he is happy but I’m desperate to be sure 😂 any advice or information is appreciated!
Right now he is in a 3.5 gallon tank which I know is not ideal, and I do intend to upgrade him, I just wanted a starter tank.
There is one moss ball live plant but the rest are fake (:
