found a good deal for this 125 gallon that has been set up like this for 3 years. you guys think the tank is safe even though it had that much overhang on the stand? I obviously won't be using that stand if I get it. I just don't know if it's compromised from being on that stand

I did this with a large snake terrarium. Nothing but air and coco substrate weight it down, and the floor still cracked.
I would not do this with a tank full of water at any size.

If you buy it don’t put anything expensive in it or anything you’ll get too attached to or spend too much time on it. It might not crack and leak, but if it does, you’ll regret getting it. $175 for a 125gallon though… Tempting, but risky.
That’s insane….I would honestly wait and get a different one. I’m sure that price would come up on one that’s been better taken care of. Even if that tank *could* be fine, I wouldn’t even risk it.
If you do, I’d check it thoroughly.
