I look like I have baby fingers, lol! Anyways, I got this Amazon sword in a few weeks ago when I replanted my entire tank and I was wondering if I need to cut the stem that’s going out of the water or if I should keep it?

It tries to either flower or clone itself, maybe both. You can redirect the stem into the water if you want your plant to make additional amazon swords. The mother plant will not die of this and will hold up well if parameters are good, so there is not really a point in cutting this spike unless you want the plant to focus on itself only.
