So today I discovered the Scott rod. I honestly didn’t know or forgot I had it. Wondering if anyone can shed some light on the model and maybe when it was manufactured. Also, any recommendations on a reel to pair with it?
I also inherited the Redington Classic trout rod and Orvis Battenkill BBS ii. I see that the reel is suited for 3-5wt line, but I don’t know what weight the line is that’s on it. Maybe I should pick a 3wt and pair to the Scott or a 5wt and keep on the Redington?
I’m moving to quite near the Uinta mountain range within weeks and these will be my primary outfits. Moving from Midwest Ohio bass fishing to mountain streams/lakes for trout and salmon.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!
