I already own two cheaper 7’ medium fast rods (ugly stik elite and Daiwa Revros rod). Does it make sense to get another medium fast or medium light fast rod? The bottom lure weight rating is both 1/8, so not sure why I would get the ML. I’m looking for a more sensitive and versatile rod.

  1. Really depends what your fishing for. I usually go with a medium for bass and ml for crappie or other really small fish.

I have ML and L In the Tatula XT, they’re easily some of my favorite rods. I think the rod power depends on what you wanna throw with it. Finesse techniques like drop shot, neko, wacky, etc on 6-10lb test would be great for the ML. The rod is very versatile too, feels great throwing throw flukes, jig head minnows, even smaller spinners and hard baits. I always bring 2 ML combos when I go out because I use so many finesse baits/techniques haha.
