ALL fish are MALE FRYS.
My Betta splendens (Siamese Fighting Fish), Cronius, is housed in a separate 5-gallon tank. The remaining fish are temporarily in a 10-gallon tank until they reach maturity, at which point they will be TRANSFERRED to a 75-gallon tank.
I have carefully integrated the listed species, ensuring they coexist harmoniously. I am proud to say they all get along well.
After the new fish has acclimated to the water temperature of my tank while they stay in the store bag, I carefully place them in and add food. I closely monitor the behavioral and social interactions before, during, and after feeding to ensure that there is no posture, flaring, aggressive chasing, or any other hostile gestures. If that does occur, I immediately place that fish into another tank. I continue monitoring the 10 gallon tank since the removed fish stays alone, for the next few days, especially at night when their light is turned off.
My boyfriend and I manage five tanks ranging from 5 gallons to 250 gallons, in addition to an emergency and hospital tank.
The fish in the 10-gallon tank have exhibited exceptionally healthy social interactions. For example, when Azriel, a Poecilia reticulata (Guppy), was added, he quickly bonded with Prince Cedric (Apistogramma panduro – (Panduro Dwarf Cichlid)) and my 3 Pterophyllum scalare (Freshwater Angelfish) without any signs of aggression. Additionally, I introduced another guppy later that day, creating a beautiful bond with Prince Cedric, Azriel, and my angel fish.
Note: Prince Cedric prefers solitary moments at times, while Azriel and Valenāthe other guppyāprefer to hang out together or with the angelfish. They all respect each other's space.
Beetlejuice, my Pangio kuhlii (Kuhli Loach), instantly bonded with Eldric (Ancistrus sp., Bristlenose Pleco) and Vesperion (Synodontis petricola – Catfish).
