I’ll be shark fishing from the shore in Florida, not looking to catch anything crazy huge. Thought spinning reel is the way to go so I can cast further and not have to paddle out the bait. Trying to stick with Bass Pro since I have a few gift cards, any advice is much appreciated!

I am going to die on this hill but Diawa BG’s aren’t worth the money. You wont get replacement parts for it. People say they know how but they are all wrong. I have tried a lot.
If you have the money get the offshore angler ocean master surf rod instead
