I posted this pic a couple days ago elsewhere and someone said that it looks unhealthy. What do you think?

It could be the angle but it does look pretty skinny for how long it is.

Looks like the body of water is overpopulated with predator fish compared to baitfish. Probably need to start culling.

I think the fish is okay the reason it’s skinny is the reason u caught it/ bad genetics the color of him is just from water clarity

Hair is a little long and there are holes in his jeans, but he seems ok. He’s atleast smiling…I think.

Can’t really tell because he’s wearing a bunch of clothes and you can’t see his face. Nice fish though!

I wouldn’t cull that one in particular but the pond I manage has plenty of bass that look like this. I’ve been culling bass under 1lb this year. I plan to take 100 under 1lb out of the 1 acre pond before end of March, and see how they’re looking end of next winter to determine if I need to repeat or modify the process.
