What are some of the best lakes to bass fish close to the Oakland area? I’m originally from Utah and have not had any luck fishing around the Bay Area yet. I would love some recommendations, my boyfriend and I are looking forward to fishing a lot this spring and summer!

San Pablo Reservoir and Del Valle are decent “big” lakes for bass, Lake Chabot is fun too.
Honestly, if you have the time, drive a bit more and fish the Delta.
