I present to you, a fully 3D printed JawJacker because apparently I’m too cheap to just buy the real one.
Designed it myself. It works, but I’m not totally confident in the trigger setup. Right now the load is going through the line guide/eyelet, and I’m wondering if that’s going to cause problems long term.
Anyone run one like that? Am I going to wreck eyelets or am I overthinking it?

I’ve wondered about making these with a 3d printer. I don’t have the skills myself though. You should do the auto-jigging base next. I took mine apart cause it didn’t jig aggressively enough and now it’s broken. I’ve been meaning to experiment around and try to build something better.
The way that thing collapses down looks great
I have multiple 3d printed jawjackers that more closely mimic the official one, and let me tell ya I have way better success with them than the 1 store bought one I have. They catch fish every time I’m out. I can’t comment on this particular design, though attaching to the eyelet does seem like it could be problematic. Curious how they end up doing or tweaks that you make, keep us posted.
