His tumor is taking over his top dorsal fin. He's still active and eating. He's swimming fine but I'm worried he will loose his whole dorsal fin and loose his ability to swim and reach the surface to breathe air.

5 gallon planted tank with some small bladder snails but no other tank mates. I do weekly water changes of 1/3 to 1/2 of the water depending on nitrate level and how dirty it seems. Water is softer, I use bottled spring water and RO water and use botanicals and wood that leach tannnins. Nitrates are low 5 ppm, ph is 7.2, ammonia 0 (cycled tank) sponge filter and biomedia, no chemical filtration except charcoal at times. I got him about a year ago from PetSmart.
I have been treating him with stress guard, tannins, epsom salt baths and kanaplex.
