For the newbies out there that are discouraged by the deep learning curve of achieving a beautiful planted tank…

This was my first solo tank. I got sucked into all the general advice from Petsmart so don't feel discouraged if you get criticism on here. You all have potential to learn and improve to build great aquariums!

  1. I’ve gone full circle and am going back to the vibe of the first! I’ve got 4 tastefully aquascaped tanks. I’m not a tasteful person, I adore kitsch, so I have no idea why I felt my aquariums needed to be ✨stylish✨

So I’m currently cycling a small tank for scuds and freshwater isopods that has pink/blue plastic plants (along with real ones), pink gravel, multicoloured lights and a plastic dolphin 🐬

Spongebob pineapple FTW! That’s a very pretty scape, tho. Very tranquil.
