Betta Fish: very suspicious looking poop

forgive the cloudiness, I just stirred up some stuff while siphoning. i swear this isn't normal 😂

Does anyone else think this poop looks like worms? it started normal but then gradually started looking messy and stringy like this and turned yellow. I will say that I caught him stealing some spinach from a snail, but otherwise his diet is brine shrimp and floating pellets.

he's eating, flaring, but if anything he does keep resting, which he usually does while pooping anyway.

ph: 8.4 (trying to lower it slowly)
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: recently dropped to zero because my plants are sucking it all and actually need some more food.
