It was listed as the "spinning" version, but I think I was sent the casting version. There's zero chance this will cast, even if I pair it with a small 2000 size spinning reel, right?

I think the eyelets are just what you get with a packable like that. Never bought from temu, I may be wrong.
Are you flying? I always check a bag as hooks and braided line are a TSA no no. I bought a jogging world three piece and carry on, and check my reels, lures and terminal.
