I have a 220 in my bedroom, I recently bought it back from someone I sold it to and upon seeing it again it had this fake rock on the back. I didn’t think this would be an issue after setting up and putting fish in it but fish keep swimming behind it from the sides and getting stuck. I’m considering ripping it all out literally this very moment, kinda torn because it does look nice, but I don’t want anymore fish to get stuck and it’s taking up about half of what could be larger real estate . Should I leave it in or take it out?

  1. Drain. Expanding pond foam the edges. Fill.

Or remove it and make your own custom background.

Huge tanks benefit from backgrounds kuch more than smaller ones if you ask me so definitely put something on that back glass

you could fill the spots where fish get stuck because to me its stunning but if you have other scape ideas go ahead and take em out!

  3. If you decide to take it out, definitely sell it on marketplace because these are pretty expensive and every single fish group on Facebook has somebody who’s always scouring marketplace – – so literally all over the world.

  4. Id try to block the openings as best as possible and keep it. It looks fantastic. But its your tank. If you worry about the fish getting behind it so much that you cant enjoy the tank then you should probably remove it.

Could always make the holes/gaps they go through bigger so they can go in and out. Even little entrances/exits mid way too that can be hidden with a plant or other decor.

  6. Thought it was overflowing from the artifacts in the video.🤣

Id keep and fill but you said part of it is broken, so prob best to remove it? It does look cool though.
