I asked a PetSmart employee if they had any bettas off display because they were sick. They brought him out- he had been ripping parts of his tail/fins out due to stress.
Any types of name suggestions would be appreciated, though I prefer unserious ones (my last guy was named Meow Mix). Also any tips for his condition are very much welcome.
I am hopeful that I can post updates as he recovers.
Also!! I know my tank water looks cloudy, I just added new water so sediment got stirred up, and put in some tannins (which for some reason always make my water look Really cloudy on camera)- so thats part of it. I am also at the tail end of a bacteria bloom. It has been clearing up.

“Tall Tailless” there a book called “Wolf Brother” and the abandoned wolf cub a tribes boy finds calls him that. The wolf doesn’t speak, but when the book goes to the perspective of the wolf, that’s what the wolf cub calls him. It’s kinda cute.
