Hey guys, I’m a guy who’s been bass fishing since I was like 11, but only semi seriously. I’m only just now starting to get into patterns and tournament fishing and breaking down new lakes and bass behavior. I live in North MS and have been thinking about going out to lake Monroe next weekend. I have never fished this lake before and it is a 100 acre lake (really small). From what I understand, around this time of year bass are in the prespawn phase. So theoretically they would be working their way into shallow flats to get ready for the spawning phase. What should I be looking for? How do I know which side of the lake to start on? How would yall be going about breaking down this lake and finding the highest percentage locations? Thanks!
