Have found myself targeting panfish and wild brookies in small creeks with lots of brush and trees more lately. Wanting some opinions on a 3wt under or around the 300 dollar mark. Love my clearwater but wanting different from Orvis just to try another brand as well. Plan on using dries, nymphs, and small streamers. Thanks for yalls help!

Get a glass rod. Redington Butterstick, moonlit or echo river glass are all around $300 but can be found for less.
Redington Classic Trout in 3wt., LL Bean Pocketwater in 3wt. And Maxcatch Premier in 3wt. I have all three,
all are pretty reasonable and each is enjoyable to fish.
Risen has some good rods for low price.
