Decided to upgrade and bought a 7’3 tatula spinning rod online. Received it and noticed that the guide was a bit bent and the epoxy coating for the guide is cracked off. Would this be an issue at all and should I try to get a replacement?

yeah ask for a replacement, worst case you have to send it back and wait again, best case you get a backup for free

  2. Normally if the tiny guides are slightly bent I would just bend it back. but if the epoxy is cracking and whatever else is wrong I would send it back for sure or ask for a refund.
