(Last two pics are the day I got him) I miss him so much. I’ve went to feed his empty tank multiple times waiting for him to swim up to get his food. He had so many health issues when it came to his fins, I will never own another long fin betta again especially not a dumbo. His fins were so heavy he couldn’t even rest without sinking straight to the bottom. This led him to fin nip then he developed fin rot. I think I had to treat him for it around 6 times in his 2 years of life. Around two weeks ago I noticed him pineconeing, I treated him with epsom salt and kanaplex for two weeks with no results. It’s so sad how overbreed bettas have become. Whenever I was younger (and didn’t know better)my bettas lasted 3-4 years with extremely improper care. Now you do everything almost perfectly and they still get sick at younger ages 🥲 sorry about my small rant and the amount of pictures)
