I see them frequently in stores, i can appreciate the colors, but that melon… just can’t get past it to actually like them.

Had a flower horn for years. I absolutely adored him. Super playful and interactive fish but they will destroy anything and everything. Plants? Shredded. Fish? Eaten. Decor? No I don’t like where you put that but don’t worry I’ll fix it for you

My dad had 5 tanks of these guys when I was little. Smart but destructive and greedy fish. If you find bright red ones with more distinct black markings (almost like Chinese characters), they go for exorbitant amounts.

This was the rage back in early 2000 in the South East Asia. Almost everyone who has a fish tank owned at least a few of them. Those with pearls resembling letters or a word or number 8 fetched a significantly higher prices. Good times!
